As is the nature of all things hand-painted, please know that no lamp will be completely perfect and no two will ever be the same. This may mean there are irregularities in pattern and or colour, but by no means causes them to loose their charm or beauty.

If ordering a bespoke hand-painted lamp please allow for up to 7 weeks lead time.

In regards to commissions I require a 50% deposit before I begin creating your lamp. Lead time is approximately 7 weeks.

I am afraid that I cannot advise you on what sized lampshade would best suit your lamp as this is subjective and different lamps look best with different sized and shaped lampshades depending on their surroudings. As a basic rule of thumb, I tend to pair lamps that are twice as wide and a third their height. The required size, shape and design of your lamp will be detailed on your invoice - please ensure this is correct before ordering as it is your responsibility.

Delivery of Lamps within the UK is between £15-40 (they have to be carefully packed and are generally heavy). Please contact me for quotes on international shipping rates via info@blacklionworkshops.com. Orders will be shipped within 48 hours of purchase (excluding weekends), where upon you shall receive a shipment confirmation email with the parcel tracking number.

I shall not be liable for any delays and/ failures of delivery if the courier cannot gain access to the property.

Please note I do not accept returns for bespoke or commissioned lamps as they are made to order and often customised (unless the lamp is faulty or it has been damaged in transit to you). You should inspect the lamp within 24 hours of recieving for signs of damage and send photographic evidence to me within this time. I will accept returns of reclaimed lamps if returned within 20 days of receiving, as long as the items returned meets my terms (undamaged and fully functioning).

Prices are subject to change without notice, though this will not affect orders which have already been placed.
