Pink, Blue and Red Anartia Lamp
A hand-painted wooden table lamp, designed and painted by Freya Marton at Black Lion Workshops. Made to order in the UK from sustainable FSC-certified wood.
The Red, Blue and Pink Anartia Lamp is decorated with a pattern reminiscent of a peacock. Its namesake, the Anartia, is rather deceptively a butterfly, with wings that mimic the patterns of a peacock. The design takes its starting point from a pattern made at the Omega Workshops, the Bloomsbury design collective, adapted to a round base so that it looks seamless wherever the lamp sits in the room. It is painted in a palette of red, blue and pink.
Each lamp is individually hand-painted. Matching pairs or small sets can be commissioned on request.
Height: 40cm (including bulb holder)
Base diameter: 12cm
Wired with braided flex, a Bayonet Cap brass switched safer lampholder and a standard plug (5A plug also available)
Can be wired for the US for an additional fee
Made from start to finish in the UK by independent craftsmen
